Healdsburg Project
Working with a local agent in northern Sonoma county, we found an opportunity to purchase a single-family property on a big lot that is walking distance to the Healdsburg square. Originally the plan was to expand the footprint of the main house by adding a master suite, while also finishing off the rest of the property. However, upon discussions with local agents and resources, it was determined that by adding an ADU and a pool, the value of the property would increase tremendously. Through multiple fire seasons, a pandemic, and supply chain issues, we completed this project in the Fall of 2021, and sold it in December of the same year.
Details
An original 1510 sq ft property on a 7700 sq ft lot 3 blocks from the Healdsburg square, we added another 300 sq ft onto the main residence to complete a master suite. A full rehab to the rest of the property resulted in an 1810 sq ft 3 BR/3BA open plan concept home with all new electrical, plumbing and finishes. A new ground-up 300 sq ft 1 BR/1BA ADU guesthouse was also added, along with a new pool/spa and updated landscaping throughout.
